Microneedling in Phoenix, AZ — Stimulate Collagen & Smooth Skin Naturally
Harness Your Body’s Own Healing Power to Improve Skin Texture, Tone, Elasticity, & Radiance
ABOUT MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a device with fine, sterile needles to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin. These controlled injuries trigger the skin’s natural healing process & stimulate collagen & elastin production, leading to smoother, firmer, & more youthful-looking skin.
Microneedling is a versatile treatment used to address:
- Acne scars & other scarring
- Fine lines & wrinkles
- Uneven skin tone & texture
- Large pores
- Mild skin laxity
- Stretch marks
- Dull or rough skin
Microneedling is safe for all skin types & can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and even body areas. It’s often performed in a series for optimal results. Adding PRP (Platelet-Rich Platelets) or serum infusions accelerates healing & boosts outcomes.

MICRONEEDLING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you’re planning for a special event or trip, we recommend scheduling your treatment at least 1 month before — to ensure your results are fully settled and looking their best.
To prep your skin for microneedling:
- Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, & glycolic or salicylic acids for 3–5 days before treatment,
- Avoid sun exposure & self-tanning products.
- Avoid blood-thinners for 3–5 days: Blood-thinners include drinking alcohol, taking aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, & certain supplements like fish oil or vitamin E (unless prescribed by your doctor).
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or lotion
- Tell your provider if you have active acne, cold sores, or any skin infections
If you choose to get microneedling with PRP, we’ll draw your blood for the PRP, so drink plenty of water the day before & morning of your appointment. Also, eat a light meal before your appointment.
Initial improvement in skin tone & texture can be seen within 7–10 days, but the best results appear gradually as collagen builds over the next 4–6 weeks. For concerns like acne scars or deeper wrinkles, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart is usually recommended.
Downtime is typically mild to moderate. Most clients experience noticeable redness & a sunburn-like sensation for 24–48 hours. Mild swelling, tightness, or flaking can follow for a few days. We recommend planning your treatment when you have a few days of social downtime & avoiding important events immediately after.
Follow these tips after your microneedling treatment to minimize infection, skin irritation, & hyperpigmentation:
- Avoid makeup, direct sun, & sweaty workouts for 48 hours.
- Wear sunscreen whenever you are outdoors for 1 week.
- Avoid skincare with actives (like retinol or acids) for 1 week.
Results can last several months & improve over time with consistent treatments. For long-term skin health & collagen maintenance, most clients do a series initially & then do one maintenance session every 4–6 months, depending on skin goals.
